Deontay Wilder (born October 22, 1985) is an American Professional Boxer from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He has held the “World Boxing Council” (WBC) heavyweight title since 2015. Furthermore, the 33-year-old boxer is popular for being one of the longest-reigning world heavyweight champions.
Wilder started his amateur boxing career in October 2005. Moreover, he joined “Skyy Boxing Gym” in Northport, Alabama. Deontay trained under Jay Deas. In 2007, he defeated the world champion named “Isiah Thomas”.
